Julian Brightman (Bob Grizzle)
Julian's broadway credits include: Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby; Hello, Dolly! with Carol Channing. National Tours of Heart Strings and Camelot. West Side Story for Pittsburg CLO and the legendary La Scala Opera Milan. Most recently Stormy Weather with Leslie Uggams for the Prince Music Theatre and Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast for the Hangar in Ithaca. Regional highlights include The Walnut Steet Thteatre, Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, The Ford's DC, and The White House Holiday Celebration. Thanks to Stephen and co.


Nathan Brisby (Sailor)
Nathan is a proud resident of New York City. Regional and off-Broadway credits include leads in Side Show, Sleeping with Straight Men, Paradise Lost, Cell Phones, The Marriage of Bette and Boo, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweeney Todd, Evita, and Songs for a New World. He is an award-winning public speaker, teacher, and writer and is currently at work writing a new play, Genesis, due for public readings in 2008.


Carey Brown (Margaret)
Carey Brown can currentlty be seen in A Christmas Carol at the Westport Country Playhouse. Other credits include: Candide (New York City Opera), The Sound of Music (Paper Mill Playhouse), Greenwillow (The York Theatre), Once on This Island (Bay Street Theatre & Sacramento Music Circus), Stormy Weather (The Prince Music Theater), West Side Story (Portland Center Stage), and Jam and Spice (Westport Country Playhouse). Carey has also been involved in a number of readings including Ripper, the musical (New World Stages), Stand By The River (Theatre at St. Clements & ASCAP), and most recently I Married Wyatt Earp, directed by Graiela Daniele (New York Theatre Barn). Holly is a native west coast gal who now enjoys the big apple as her home. A few of Holly's theater credits include Of Thee I Sing - Encores! at the New York City Center; A Man With a Load of Mischief at the York Theatre Company; The National Tour of Grease and Jekyll and Hyde at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. She holds a BFA from the Hartt School, University of Hartford.


Mike Jansen (Sailor)
Mike is honored to have worked with such an amazing team, especially his hometown pal Mark Sutton-Smith. He has performed in numerous regional theaters including the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and Kansas City Starlight. In 2006 Michael originated the role of Mudge in Henry and Mudge, for Theatreworks USA, in the workshop and first National Tour. Frank Moran (Captain Podgrove)
Frank was born and raised in NY and has worked extensively in the theatre as well as in film and TV. Recent film and TV credits include: Law & Order: Criminal Intent (opp. Vincent D’Onofrio), The Guru (w/ Marisa Tomei), One Life to live, Late Night with Conan O’brien, Good Morning America. Recent Off-Broadway credits include starring roles in Paul Zindel’s Naughty Shrinks on Broadway at Jean Cocteau Rep., The Coconuts at the American Place Theatre, and A Night At The Movies at John Houseman Theatre. Regionally he’s appeared at Goodspeed Opera in Dear World and Westchester Broadway Theatre in The Pirates of Penzance. Favorite regional roles include: Richard in Richard III, Magaldi in Evita, Frank Shultz in Showboat, Nicely-Nicely in Guys and Dolls and Groucho in Minnie’s Boys.


James Roumeles (Sailor)
James is thrilled to be involved with 1812. Favorite credits include Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik), Singin' in the Rain (Don Lockwood), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Caleb) and Candide (Candide). James is originally from Bloomfield, NJ but grew up and went to school in Phoenix, AZ. In 2003 he moved to NYC where he has played Mr. Peters in Ripper! (a new musical) at New World Stages and was a member of the Broadway Chorus for Children and Art (a 75th birthday celebration for Stephen Sondheim) at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Favorite regional credits (the bad guys!) include Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar (KS City Starlight), Monsiuer D’Arque in Beauty and the Beast (FOX Theatre in Detroit), Captain Hook in Peter Pan (Media Theatre), Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf in Into the Woods (Phoenix Theatre), Simon Stride in Jekyll & Hyde (starring Sebastian Bach) and Molokov in Chess (North Carolina Theatre). Tim Rosser (Piano)
Tim's Music Directing credits include: The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Pajama Game (Shawnee Playhouse) and Little Shop of Horrors (Steven's Dramatic Society). He performed in the Liederkranz Opera Theater's production of Kurt Weill's Mahagonny Songspiel and The Seven Deadly Sins (pianist) in the Upper East Side, and A Shelter in our Car with Making Books Sing, (pianist/conductor) which completed its run in Symphony Space. He graduated from Oberlin Conservatory and is a second-year composer in the BMI Musical Theater Writing Workshop. Tim co-wrote and music directed a 15-minute piece, Oprah Winfrey Presents, which appeared in a showcase at the Zipper Theater last spring.


Chaim Tolwin (Drums)
Originally from Jerusalem, Israel, Chaim has lived, studied and played in California, Detroit, Chicago, and, for the past ten years, New York City. He began his studies at nine years old and has dedicated his life to the pursuit of rhythmic mastery, studying under greats such as Joe Morello (Dave Brubeck), Baba Jagun (Fela Kuti), and Papa Ladji Camara (African Percussion master and teacher). He currently works and lives out of his Brooklyn studio freelancing full time as a drummer/percussionist and drum teacher as well as playing with local groups around the Northeast.
